Australian children’s series First Day (Epic Films), The Unlisted (Aquarius Films), Bluey (Ludo Studio) and The Strange Chores (Ludo Studio) have been nominated for 2021 Kidscreen Awards.
First Day received two nominations in the Kids Programming category for ‘Best Live-Action Series’ and ‘Best Inclusivity’. The Unlisted is selected as a Tweens/Teens finalist for ‘Best Inclusivity’ and The Strange Chores in the same division for ‘Best Animated Series’. Bluey received its nomination in the Pre-School division for ‘Best Animated Series’.
By 2021, the Kidscreen Awards will be in its eleventh year of honouring the best work in children’s television and digital media worldwide. Winners will be announced at a special online gala awards ceremony to be held during Kidscreen Summit Virtual on Tuesday February 9, 2021.
The ACTF congratulates and wishes best of luck to all the Kidscreen nominees.
First Day is produced by Epic Films in association with Kojo Entertainment, with investment from Screen Australia in association with the South Australian Film Corporation, the ABC and the ACTF. The ACTF distributes First Day internationally.
The Unlisted is an Aquarius Films production in association with Buster Productions for the ABC. Principal production investment from Screen Australia, ABC, Sinking Ship and Create NSW. The ACTF provides educational resources for the series.
