Sales In 2017 Off To A Flying Start

In the past few months the ACTF International Sales team has secured numerous sales with broadcasters around the world.

SVT Sweden has acquired the award-winning teen drama series Ready for This (13 x 24 min), as well as the new animated pre-school series Balloon Barnyard (26 x 7 min).

Public broadcaster RTP Portugal has also acquired Ready For This, as well as live action comedy series Little Lunch (26 x 12 min), including the two Little Lunch Specials (2 x 24 min), and short form animated series Dukes of Broxstonia, Series 3 (10 x 7 min).

And continuing with more sales of Ready For This, the series has also recently been licensed by Finland’s public broadcaster YLE, as well as by S.H. Channel 8, Israel, for their new kids channel Yes Kidz.

More sales of animated pre-school series Balloon Barnyard (26 x 7 min) have also been finalised recently with Daekyo KidsTV in Korea, as well as Global Eagle Entertainment for Emirates inflight entertainment system ‘ice’. Further sales of the series are due to be closed soon.

UK-based VOD platform Azoomee has acquired a package of ACTF shows including the factual comedy series Wacky World Beaters (20 x 24 min), action packed adventure series Bushwhacked, Series 2 & 3 (26 x 26 min), sketch comedy series You’re Skitting Me, Series 3 (26 x 12 min), and the short form series My Strange Pet (10 x 1 min).

Miami based VME TV has licensed the Pay TV rights for several ACTF programs for the USA and Puerto Rico via the ACTF’s Latin American distributor Televix Entertainment. The package deal includes pre-school comedy live action series Hoopla Doopla! (52 x 12 min), short-form series Mega Bites (10 x 1 min), factual adventure series Wacky World Beaters (20 x 24 min), as well as Bushwhacked, Series 2 & 3 (26 x 26 min).

While in Asia, the comedy series Worst Year of My Life, Again! (13 x 24 min) has been picked up by Vietnam distribution company Viet Content, with Australia Plus TV licensing the evergreen award-winning series Round the Twist (52 x 24 min) for broadcast in 44 countries across Asia, the Pacific and Indian subcontinent.

And at home ABC Television (Australia) have recently re-licensed several ACTF shows including Dance Academy (Series 2 & 3), Mortified and Mal.com, as well as a first-time licence of Lockie Leonard (Series 2).
