ACTF networking event

The ACTF hit the road again this month with the first ACTF Information Session held in person after three years.

Hosted by the South Australian Film Corporation, Bernadette O’Mahony, Li-Kim Chuah and Jo Kasch from the ACTF content team travelled to Adelaide to speak to South Australian writers and producers about what the ACTF does, what we look for, ways to work with the ACTF, as well as discussing the local and international market including trends, opportunities and changes in children’s television.

Immediately following the information session held in the SAFC Theatre, the ACTF team, SAFC staff and attendees spent time getting to know each other over coffee and having further conversations.

During the afternoon the ACTF team split up and held one on one meetings with producers and creators who were able to pitch projects and discuss ideas, then receive feedback and advice from the ACTF team.

It was great to catch up with Kate, Beth and all the SAFC team, and meet the South Australian practitioners across the course of the day and we look forward to seeing more great kids TV come out of South Australia in future.

Thanks for having us!
