Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific has acquired the ultimate children’s wildlife series World Animal Championships (WAC) from the ACTF.

The 52-part series that puts the animal kingdom through its paces and has a heap of fun along the way will be broadcast across Asia on Discovery Kids in 2014.

“We’re thrilled that WAC will be seen all over Asia on Discovery Kids – which is such a natural home for this series,” said ACTF CEO, Jenny Buckland.

Produced by Blacklab Entertainment Pty Ltd and hosted by Amberley Lobo and Scotty Tweedie, WAC sees animals great and small go head-to-head for wildlife supremacy. Who is the strongest animal of them all? The smartest? The grossest? And even most romantic? These burning questions and more are answered in this fast-paced, fact-packed show.
